IMPORTANT MEETING FOR CPPA MEMBERS
“Tomorrow’s Schools” Independent Taskforce
The Minister of Education appointed the taskforce to carry out a review of Tomorrow’s Schools. This review has been completed and its recommendations are intended to put equity and wellbeing of students at the forefront. The recommendations are seen as transformational. The taskforce is coming to share the recommendations contained in the document, “Our Schooling Future: Stronger Together” and to answer your questions.
Consultation is currently being carried out and this meeting can help inform your thinking and inform your boards and community. Submissions are due 7 April 2019. This is probably the most important proposed reform in the last 30 years so deserves your
full attention. A public meeting will also be on and I suggest you inform you boards and communities to take the opportunity to attend.
